Jamie Hoover (right) and Steve Stoeckel (left) are one half of The Spongetones,  a premier powerpop band with a 12 CD discography stretching over 30 years.

Jamie and Steve released their first duo CD, "English Afterthoughts", in 2010, garnering rave reviews. Their second CD, "The Next Big Thing" was released in 2011. The two CDs were subsequently combined and released in Japan in 2012. On January 1, 2013, Jamie & Steve released their 3rd studio album, "Imaginary Cafe".
